The whole idea behind Bee Bants came from me being sick and tired of spending hours either looking up where to go or arguing with friends about which place is best.
I love to go out and get some drinks or pop out for a bite to eat with the (currently imaginary) boyfriend.
Soooo as I am a firm believer in every problem having a solution, I went out and started looking for a way to cut out the whole decision-making process.
Needless to say, my search was in vain as there was nothing out there that solved the problem.
As any aspiring business student would do, I decided that developing an app as a solution would obviously lead to me being the next Mark Zuckerberg!
Ever so slightly ambitious of course, but you never know, stranger things have happened!
So was born the idea for Bee Bants.
I went out (literally speaking as I just went to the bar) and found myself a team that agreed to help me to develop this app and turn the dream into a reality.
I knew this wasn't going to be easy and I wanted to make it as perfect as possible so I spent and am still spending hours researching the different locations, the different "secret spots" and quirky adventures.
After going through Google with a fine toothed comb, looking at hundreds of reviews and building a database I have found some incredible places.
This project has been worth it just for the discovery of some of these amazing places! Who knew London still had prohibition bars and witchy speak-easy's??
Some of the Spots are out in the open, some of them are quite famous, some are hidden, some are in less known parts of town but one thing they all have in common is that they were carefully selected for this app so as to give you the best experience possible! With both the app and the bar/restaurant that you end up in.
Just going-out to the same old boozer every weekend is over-rated. Where's the fun? the adventure? the spontaneity in that??
If you're set in your ways and not sure about taking the risk, download Bee Bants for a test drive and if you hate it, you can delete it and never look back! But you also might end up loving it and find yourself unable to live without it...
